SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM THE SNOW HUTS
Views from the property are quite simply stunning and the tranquillity of the surrounding area is unsurpassed.
Dent Station and the Snow Huts are one of the most well known properties on the famous Settle to Carlisle line – itself one of the world’s most scenic railway journeys.
Dent Station is Grade II listed and comes with over 135 years of famous railway history.
Whilst the Snow Huts are arguably in a very remote location, accessibility to the surrounding towns and via the Settle to Carlisle railway line both North and South are excellent.
Surrounding towns of Hawes and Sedbergh, Leyburn, Giggleswick, Kirby Lonsdale, Skipton and Ingleton are all within reach and have their own individual charm and character. All these towns have market days and are predominantly serviced by superb local/regional shops selling ‘top notch’ local produce.
Slightly further afield yet still accessible from Dent; is the Lake District, Harrogate, Richmond, Barnard Castle and Beadale. As well as the bigger towns of Carlisle (approx one hour thirty minutes by train) and Leeds (approx 2 hours by train).
